Customers using earlier versions of Apple Pro Apps—including Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, Motion, Compressor, or MainStage—need to update their apps to be compatible with macOS High Sierra.
Quiver 3 2 5 receiver hitch. These versions of Apple Pro Apps are compatible with macOS High Sierra:
- I just did that, to troubleshoot my low latency problems. Went to my past purchases in the Mac App Store and installed Logic Pro X. On 10.9, I got Logic 10.0.x (I don't remember the minor version). After I upgraded to 10.10, I was offered Logic 10.2.2. You need to be on macOS 10.11 or 10.12 to be offered Logic 10.3 from the App Store.
- Alongside the Logic Pro X, Apple released Mainstage 3 which provides live performance companion apps for Logic Pro X, turning a Mac computer into a live rig. Logic Pro X is available in the Mac App Store Direct link for $199.99 today while Logic Remote Direct link comes as a free download from the App Store.
- Final Cut Pro X 10.3.4 or later
- Motion 5.3.2 or later
- Compressor 4.3.2 or later
- Logic Pro X 10.3.1 or later
- MainStage 3.3 or later
You can update to the latest versions of these apps or buy them in the App Store. Previous versions of these applications, including all apps in Final Cut Studio and Logic Studio, are not supported in macOS High Sierra.
To check the version number of your apps do the following:
Apple has made its professional music editing and production solution, available exclusively in the Mac App Store. Previously, the combo of Logic 9 and Mainstage cost $499.99, but you can now.
- In Finder, choose Go > Applications.
- Select the Pro App, then choose File > Get Info.
- You can see the version number in the General section of the window.
Hello All, I am having problems will Logic Pro X when creating a New File or Using Templates it crashes. I have tried lots of things advised by many User web sites and searching the Web. It now appers I have to reinstall the App. Here lies the problem? When opening the App Store and my Purchases it tells me its installed? Greyed out. Do I have to now delete Logic Pro X to change this window? If thats the case do I have to delete ALL of Logic Pro X and content which well could mess up Logic 9 I still use and maybe Final Cut X God..There files and floders all over the OS Main drive?
There seems little in the way of backing up Logic Pro X with the installer for such occasions as I find mysellf in when using the App Store. I do have a recent clone of my hard drive but it well could have the problem in a bad file etc. We dont have a disk image DMG anymore nor a DVD CD disk to revert to? Its crazy and whats puzzleing is I just download Mevericks with the insaller without it installing. I can back that up and insatll it when I wish and thats free? So it makes know sence when you have paid for a App?
Of cause maybe there's a simple explention and I have missed it? Thanks for any advise help or experiences, you may all have to reinsall such Pro apps one day? Cheers Don H
